The Tennis Format |

On arrival at the club all players are asked to grade themselves A B or C . With this information in hand a round robin competition is prepared. Playing doubles, like graded players complete 3 sets of tennis / 8 games a set. Players change partners after 4 games. On completion of each set new teams are formed. Player game scores are collated towards prizes at the end of the night for the most games won. |

What does it Cost? |
|
| |
A small fee of $5.00 per player. This is to assist with cost of food / prizes and lights for the night. |

Social Tennis has now become a regular event at the Essendon Tennis Club. With the summer night tennis competition nearing the end and winter competition not starting until early August, social tennis fills the void. For those people wanting to keep their tennis skills sharpened, those who want to just have a hit and a bit of fun, Social Tennis is for you. |
